Imagchine27 – New corporate identity 2014

With the creation of the new online portfolio it was also necessary to revise the corporate identity.

The new imagotype (when brand symbol and name are able to work separately) proposal rise from the try of simplification of the old logo. During the synthesis process when, I was looking for the adaptation of the symbol for small sizes, I bump into a new solution. I removed the rounded part of the symbol and converted the previous head-shaped hollow in a head shape. The gears were simplified too. Although, it was not enough personal for me, so I decide to use my own head silhouette. This change engaged the symbol with respect to personality.

Besides, the previous type was a modified Impact which resulted to rigid for what the imagotype had to transmit in reality which was dynamic and variety.  For this reason I decided to create my own typography called Imagchinario27 type only thought for this use. This way the imagotype would be much more personal and unique.

The corporate colours were modified too because of printing problems. The previous color which I had chosen was a red maroon a bit to dark which got darkened after printing converting itself in nearly black color. So the red color I wanted got always lost. The previous-used bright grey was replaced by a white color to confer a more fresh and innovative sensation.

To complete the new identity I bought a font family called Boxed font to accompany the Vollkorn font
